Making a relationship

Hi

I have aspergrers, male and cannot socialise well but am intelligent and work f/t. Does anyone know ways of meeting people rather than just do activities. Surely others like me are capable people but just unable to socialise. Any penfriends welcome or advice. You can pay on websites which is fair but how do people understand you? I live in Scotland uk. It si obvious with me I have aspergers but canot tell people why and this makews them uneasy.
