I don't know if there is a difference in education between a psychologist and a neuropsychologist, but i would just like a simple quick list of what education is required to become a neuropsychologist, only. thank you!

RE: What education do you need to become a neuropsychologist?
Looking at Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neuropsychology) it seems that a neuropsychologist is more academic/experimental whereas a psychologist is more front line treatment. Strikes me that the educational approach would be much the same - get yourself some good science qualifications at 'A' level and apply for a suitable course at university. Once you've got that lot under your belt you can specialise in neuro or otherwise.

Take a degree in psychology (make sure to take Neurobiology), then a Phd in Clinical, after that specialise in Neuro-based work. There is an educational route, but I think the clinical route would be more effective. Hope this helps.

Psychologist is what's meant by the term 'shrink'. (Psychiatrists just pretend to listen while writing a script.) Neuro is a prefix that means brain.
