More positives
Strong and lasting friendships: Although many individuals with AS have difficulty establishing trust of others (especially if they have been victim of bullying, teasing, etc), they often hold lifetime friendships with those they do trust. Many friendships are established with teachers, professors, and/or mentors, because there is a strong mutual respect and trust that does not necessarily require social skills as a foundation for friendship. Aspies are loyal, honest, and reliable to a fault.

RE: More positives
When I was younger I always got on better with older people. I think it made me more mature in outlook. Another positive is that I think I have the ability to look at the broader picture on many things. And I often spot solutions to problems quickly.

I can say good day in nine different languages and I'm a singer/songwriter because I have an ASD.
